Philadelphia Transfer Station Open To The Public
Geppert Recycling is proud to offer waste disposal services on-site at our transfer station in Philadelphia. Open to the public 6 days a week, both commercial and residential clients can drop off their waste during our operating hours. We accept a variety of solid, non-hazardous waste materials, including but not limited to household debris, construction debris, demolition debris, concrete, cement, drywall, insulation, paper, and cardboard. Once the waste has been dropped off, we’ll sort through the various materials and make sure they’re disposed of properly.

Geppert Recycling offers professional dumpster rental, waste disposal, and dumpster bag pick-up services throughout the Tri-State area, including Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties. Our transfer station and propane refilling station are located in the Nicetown area of Philadelphia, conveniently located near all major highways.

$115 per ton for C&D (construction and demolition debris) – $90 minimum
Clean fill $75 per ton – $75 minimum
WHAT WE TAKE:
- Household debris: Carpet, furniture, laminate, tile or vinyl flooring; bath fixtures, such as tubs, showers, sinks and toilets, etc.
- Mattresses: Per item fee at Transfer Station or included in dumpsters
- Construction debris: Concrete, cement, masonry, wood, metal, insulation, drywall, roof shingles, glass, etc.
- Recyclables: Wood, paper, cardboard, scrap metal, asphalt, concrete, etc.
- Tires: Per item fee at Transfer Station or included in dumpsters
- Clean Fill: Unpainted concrete, stone, rock, dirt or asphalt – there can be zero trash, or biodegradable material like wood, grass or brush
- Microwaves, televisions and computers (please call for details)
- Completely dried paint of any kind
WHAT WE DON’T TAKE:
- Toxic or hazardous waste, including biomedical or infectious waste
- Fluorescent tubes
- Flammable, explosive, or chemical materials
- Aerosol cans or propane tanks
- Motor oils, lubricants, antifreeze, or refrigerants
- Pesticides, solvents, or paints (except latex paint that is completely dried to solid)
- Batteries
- No Liquids or Food of any kind
